Hello, friends. Welcome to the Ruth Joe Simon's podcast. Today's episode is a confessional. Are you ready? This episode I wasn't planning on doing. I'm squeezing

in because I have just really chosen to be real here. I want to be as real as I can through the

podcast where it's always been about having authentic conversations,

hopefully in real time as possible, where I really apply the gospel in everyday life things.

Well, an everyday life thing happened, and I am here to talk about it.

Last week, some of you opened up the podcast episode, the preach to yourself, you are not

too late, you are not behind that episode.

Some of you opened up that episode and heard me say, I choked on my spit.

I better start over.

And then you listen to the whole thing wondering,

is that the real new format of the podcast?

There's no music, nothing.

I talk, talk, talk.

And at the end of it, apparently I was like,

I'm done like a child who needs mom to come help them off the pot and was like,

I hope it's better than the first one.

I have a little backstory to all of this.

And so for those of you, if you did not hear that, if you did not, if you don't know what

I'm talking about, stick around

because this is me wanting to be honest and transparent about all the things that we all

struggle with. We all struggle with being sometimes human, making mistakes, not being perfect.
