It's time for watch Wednesday here on the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com.

And once again, I'm hanging out talking watching with my guy Devin Lewis Jewelers.

And we go from last week's piece, was had a lot of flare and color to this one, which is a little

more traditional and just as exquisitely beautiful.

So what I have for us today is the Omega 34mm Mother of Pearl Dial De Deville and what is really pristine and beautiful about

this is it's traditional it's timeless this is a watch you can wear with every single outfit

i mean having that white mother-of-pearl what is that not going to go with you can wear that every

day but it's nice and elegant enough we can still wear it to dinner.

What's also really cool about this one is it features the open caseback, which I always love being able to see that movement in there.

And also, to be getting a co-acto escapement movement for $5,300 is just, it blows me away that Omega's price point is still where it's at because in my opinion

under $15,000 this is the best possible movement you can get in any watch and the reason I say that

is because what Omega did with the coaxia eschaement was they added their um helico silicone silicone hairspring

which to give you an idea uses a hundred times less oil than

any movement ever made and what that does for the customer is servicing wise say you know four

or five years down the line is the average overhaul for say your normal swiss movement where omega

because it uses a hundred times less oil you're going to be 8 to 10 years minimum

until its first recommended service.
