And so want to start off the hour, just making mention of the NCAA resolution to the Steve Kling scale, Jesse Minter portion of the case.

They have both been hit, former Michigan assistants, have both agreed to the penalties, show cause penalties, have been levied against them by the NCAA. And they are

beginning to serve those penalties, two years show cause penalties that they began to serve

right now. But they're NFL coaches, Ira. So if they're in the NFL the next two seasons, what becomes of these two-year penalties that they are to serve in the college football ranks?

What becomes of those penalties?

So, Sam, I'm trying to come up with a really good analogy for this.

And I'm not sure I could. But I guess that would be like saying you're on probation and you can't do certain things in Canada and you live in Michigan and you can't do certain things in Canada for two years.

But you don't go to Canada for three years.

After three years, you decide I'm going to go back to Canada.

Guess you you can then do in Canada?

Whatever you want.

That's basically, I think, what this is, like that's what a show cause penalty, if you're

in the NFL means, well, let's explain a show cause penalty.

What it means is that if you want to get a job in college and you're serving a show cause

penalty, A, then the institution that is hiring you,

they're not really supposed to hire you for athletic purposes.

But if they want to hire you, they have to prove to the NCAA that you are overly qualified

and you are the most qualified.

I think it's how McNeese, Nate, got away with getting Will Wade because they weren't

getting a coach that qualified to be the head coach of McNeese.
