I can't imagine when Sam booked his trip for he and his guys to go down to Big Ten football media days,

I can't imagine that he thought that his one full day in Vegas today would temperature-wise compete with today's weather here in Ann Arbor.

But that's actually the case.

Now, it's going to be a little bit hotter down there. Okay. It's going to be because their temperature calls for high around 100, 102 degrees. And we're not quite at that high. But it's funny is they don't call for a heat advisory in Las Vegas when it's that hot. But here, when it's going to be what it's going to be today, we're under a

heat advisory. So a reminder that we are under a heat advisory. It remains in effect from 11 a.m.

today through 8 p.m. later on today. So 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. we are going to be under a heat

advisory, all of southeast Michigan. Hot temperatures, high humidity. So please be careful. Drink lots of fluids. Stay indoors. Try not to be outside too long. If you're going to be outside, hopefully you're doing it either in the shade or really more so at a swimming pool because I don't know if the shade is going to protect you and help you that much when it gets that hot later on this afternoon. But it's a great pool day. If you love the pool, today is a pool day. If you love the lake, today, it might be a pretty good lake day. I know it's a work day. So that might not be an option. Neither those may be options for you today. But we are under this heat advisory today. and then things should cool off a little bit, a little bit,

supposed to be 10 plus degrees cooler tomorrow and then Saturday looks temperature-wise

right around 80 degrees.

So today is the scorcher and then it's supposed to cool back down at least a little bit.

So we are under a heat advisory.

Please be careful throughout the course of the day, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in particular.

So maybe get those activities done early before you head before the heat really sits in.

And they also said those things that they say to obviously staying inside, that kind of thing.

But watching your thermostat, trying not to do things in the house like laundry and running your dishwasher

or even cooking at home, if the things that can help heat your house up that much more,

as opposed to, you know, helping your house stay regulated due to the heat.

So there was those things that you read and you pay attention to when you have days like today. But I don't think that same and I were joking about this yesterday when our show was wrapping up. But I know he was getting ready to leave last night to go to Vegas. I was like, you're not going to have a whole lot of different weather. It'll be less humid down there. So it's actually going to be hotter there,

but heat index actually might be hotter here

because I don't know if it's going to be how humid will be down there.

So Big Ten Media Days, of course,
