Welcome back to The Michigan Insider on the Big 1050WTCA online at the big 1050.com. It is a celebratory morning here on the show. The Michigan men's basketball team is heading to the final four. They're going to be in action on Saturday night against Arizona. And then, of course, the Michigan hockey team is heading to the Frozen Four. And that is going to be a week from Thursday in Las Vegas. So two teams already heading off to the Frozen or Final Fours. And we have another team in action that is tonight, the Michigan women's basketball team. 7 o'clock Eastern Time is a tip-off time down in Fort Worth, Texas. The two-seed Michigan Wolverines, the one-seed Texas Longhorns. And it's going to be a daunting task. But Michigan is up to it. It's going to be a fun game tonight. You already heard from Brooke Quarles Daniels, Olivia Olson and Silas Sorge, previewing the game tonight. Now here is Kim Barnjerico previewing the regional final. She met with the media yesterday as we bring you that now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA. Well, it's great to be here.

We're excited to have advanced and have a day off and try to prep for Texas,

who's a great program, kind of a little bit of a home game for them.

They had a great crowd yesterday, so they are an incredible team,

and we're just resting, recovering, and trying to prep for the game

tomorrow. But I was really proud of our team, thought we did an amazing job yesterday, and happy to

still be playing basketball. Again, if you have a question, please raise your hand. And once

called upon, please set your name in media affiliation each time. Kirk Bowles from the Houston Chronicle,

at least in terms of approach and strategy,

do you see Texas as kind of a mirror image of y'all

with what y'all try to do with pressing and forcing turnovers?

Yeah, that's a great question.

They are similar. I mean, we're trying to get to that level of being a consistent final four team and having

the experience that they have.

But, you know, both Madison Booker, Rory Harmon, you know, started as young players in this

program and are where they are today and have a

tremendous amount of experience and growth. And they only have three losses on the season. And

that's due to their team sticking together that core group. But the way that they pressure,

the way that they get up, the way that they defend, their toughness, how relentless they are.

I mean, those are things that our program definitely prides itself on, are rebounding.

Another thing we really pride ourselves on.

We've been tested.
