Yesterday and until last night, a great afternoon evening of celebrations and accomplishments for Michigan women's athletics.

In the afternoon yesterday and into the early evening, the Michigan softball team beat Rutgers to complete their three-game series sweep,

and it earned Coach Bonnie Thull, her 100th win as head coach of the Michigan softball program.

So that is an achievement and a celebration for that matter.

And then last night we had the NIL extravaganza celebration with the U of Greater Detroit

and the U of M Club of Toronto.

I keep forgetting to mention now that Alex and a few of the crew from U of

Toronto came down to help celebrate with us last night with the Michigan

women's basketball team.

A really good fundraiser, raising money, raising NIL funds to help keep this team together

and to help continue to build this team up.

That's what the, obviously, what the event is all about.

We're in this era now where we need to have more things.

We need to be able to offer more than what Michigan offers, and that includes a little bit of NIL.

And so we're doing our best to put a program together to help the Michigan women's basketball team.

And we had a really fun event last night celebrating

the program at the Blue Leprecha
