So Saturday night I'm watching football. I'm watching the Notre Dame game. I've got the Florida game on. I'm flipping back and forth between Florida LSU and the Notre Dame game. and I started writing notes

starting to come up with some things

that we're going to discuss

coming up on the show this Saturday on the chat on-site fuel and counting on kickoff starting at 1130 a.m.

As we get ready for Michigan at Nebraska, the Big Ten opener for the Wolverines.

And one of the things that I put in there was a question about which is in a worst spot right now, UCLA or Virginia

Tech.

And I wrote that late Saturday night and then those programs now yesterday fired both of their

coaches.

And so that in itself is interesting.

But it gets bigger than that.

It's bigger than that because the programs, UCLA and Virginia Tech, they now, their players have a 30-day transfer portal window that opens today.

I know that it's, it's, you don't generally go into the portal in the middle of the season, but the portal for them actually opens today.

And from what I was reading yesterday, UCLA hasn't actually started classes yet.

So if you're on UCLA's roster, you could hit the portal today, pick a new landing spot

tomorrow.

And as long as you're there before the ad drop date at most of these schools, I think we're

still in that window, you could be on a new team by like the end of the week or the middle

of the week and be at a new school.

I guess the players should say thank you to the A.Ds of those schools because they didn't do this in a couple more weeks. They did this before they hit the four game window. They did this early enough in the school year that you have some options maybe even early. They're not going to play this year somewhere else, but you can make your transfer decision earlier if you want.
