Is it just a really cool thing?

It's very rare.

It doesn't happen a lot.

Most of the time that it happens, it is golf.

Usually it's the British Open or at the Open Championship because, of course, the time difference. We used to have

ESPN used to do a 24-hour college basketball marathon to tip off the college basketball season.

So we used to have games that day. There's some tennis that obviously that's overseas that, whether it's Australia or the

French, there's a little bit of that.

But mainly it's golf where we don't really have a whole lot of live sports on TV during a

6 to 10 a.m. morning talk show.

This U.S. Open is going to be a lot of fun.

U.S. Open is supposed to be golf's toughest test every single year. The last few, most of the last, what, eight, nine, ten years,

winning scores have not been as really difficult and over par, more or less, as it used to be.

And that might be a little bit different this year.

The weather's still going to be a huge factor.

But this golf course is just hard.

This golf course isn't about, it's golf's toughest test on golf's toughest course.

That's the best way to describe it, I think.

Because the U.S. Open is always going to be tough.

They're going to grow their rough thick.
