Yesterday, down with Michigan football, we heard from a few players.

Max Bredesen, Blake Frazier on the offensive side of the ball,

Zeke Barry, Derek Moore, Trey Williams on the defensive side of the ball.

We're going to have a little bit of time for you to bring a few of those to you this morning.

So let's start with Captain Max Bredison as we get ready for Michigan, Michigan State on Saturday night up in East Lansing. Here is Captain Max from yesterday. Now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA. I'm not when I want to say it's new. It's not new. But I mean, how much pride do you have to have that type of tape? Yeah, fun to do. Like, whoever's on the call sheet that that game, it's got to be ready to do it. Max, on the Jordan touchdown from last week, you came in motion and then blocked down on a three-tech. How difficult is that block to make? And how do you feel like your ability to do that opens up some of those running plays? Yeah, it was well drawn up on the whiteboard, but she still got to go do it. You got to go do it. You got to block the guy. Just being able to have that, and the playbook definitely helps, and I just excited to get Michigan touchdown. What is the role of the captain this week and making sure that you bring all the energy that's needed for this game, but letting it spill over especially for guys who haven't experienced it uh definitely like a fun role like i enjoy being able to kind of like spread like the what this game's about um being able like having having played in it and like being able to be a guy for the new guys playing this game like what it's about a lot of guys who've played in it now a lot of the new guys are either from the state

or got to kind of see what it's about so but yeah take pride of being able to guy the kind of

kind of got to experience,

like worse,

you don't do it justice?

Yeah, definitely, like, that's part of it.

Like, planning it is the best way to experience it. But have people ready for that experience is definitely a big part of playing in it.

When you're telling them what it's about,

what do you say this game is about?

My go-to-line is I like telling people, like, you've won a state championship.

Yes or no, I'd be like, well, it's time to go win one.

That's a good way to put it.

Just have guys ready to play, like, for their first time playing this game,

like it's the first rivalry game

that they've played in, so have them ready to do that too.
