Welcome back inside the Ann Arbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. So we heard from head coach Sharon Moore. It's now time to hear from the players that met with the media yesterday. We'll get to the big man, Damon Payne in a few minutes. But right now let's start with Michigan captain in safety, Rod Moore, who met with the media yesterday. Now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. What was it like being back? What were the emotions?

It was real emotional. You know, it's been like, I think it was 16 months since I played football. So, you know, I was a little nervous, had the little jitters and shakes, but got a tackle on the second place, so it kind of went away. But it was real fun.

Have your left side there, John?

You've had a lot of time to observe this secondary.

Where would you say it is right now, and what's the best way that you can help it going forward?

I feel like our secondary is in a really good spot.

We had a lot of young guys playing now,

and that's really good because, you know, that means there's a lot of potential.

So I think, you know, with me being out there, it kind of helps them a lot, you know,

especially because I have a lot of experience.

And, you know, we got a lot of weeks to get better with Coach Morgan and all of us in the film room. And we just got a lot of weeks to get better with coach morgan and all of us in the in the film room

and we just got a lot more potential from there staying on your left and the far back there

alexandro a few weeks there were you were questionable and you dressed but you weren't playing

what was it about the Nebraska game or what felt right that made that the right point for you to return?

The first three weeks it was like kind of getting back into football and I really wasn't just

ready to go to playing the game yet. And I think after week three, I warmed up and I felt really good.

And then I went through the Nebraska weekend weekend I just had a good day every day

and that's what it really was like the weeks before I probably had three good days and I would come

back super sore and I couldn't you know finish the week out but Nebraska just you know clear it out

and then woke up Saturday morning it was ready to go so they let me go go to your right in front here
