It was reported yesterday, according to Brett McMurphy, that after 29 years, Detroit's bowl game is no more. the bowl game formerly known as the Motor City Bowl,

the Little Seizures Bowl,

the quick, Detroit's bowl game is no more. The bowl game formerly known as the Motor City Bowl, the Little Seizures Bowl, the Quick Lane Bowl, the Game Above Sports Bowl. It is the no bowl anymore. And so that game, it's the third bowl game actually in the last year, along with the L.A. and the Bahamas Bulls that are no longer going to happen. I mean, obviously, money is a part of it. They don't generate money. They're not necessary.

There's too many bowl games as it is, all that kind of stuff. I do feel bad for those that used to go to the Bahamas Bowl because there's nobody going to that anymore. That's actually a fun place to go, I guess. Yeah. I honestly, I don't know anything's ever played in the LA Bowl.

I think I've seen some team.

Well, I honestly, I don't know anything's ever played in the LA Bowl. I think we've seen some team. Bahamas Bowl, I think there's some Mac teams that played there. Western is played there. I think... Didn't Eastern play there once? I think Eastern played there once. And I think Florida, Atlantic or Florida International, I played there. So, yeah, I can remember that I have no idea who's played in the LA Bowl.

Honestly, forgot that there even wasn't LA Bowl, but it's gone.

And now no longer is the artist formerly known as the Game Above Sports, Quick Lane, Little Seasers, Pizza, Motor City Bowl.

I actually went once.

I can't believe it was almost 10 years ago.

It was 9-20, the 2016, I think at that point it was time. It was called the Quick Lane Bowl. I don't remember, but it doesn't really matter. It was the Detroit Sports, whatever, ball game. I went nine years ago, and this is how memorable the game was. I had to look it up to find out what year it was. I remember that Maryland played Boston College. I'm pretty sure Maryland lost because they went under center a couple times to take snaps when they never went under center and they fumbled the ball. Just nonsensical stuff all the way around. But what do I really remember from the game? I remember two things. One, we sat right by Darnell Savage's family. He ended up right after that game, well, not right after, but a few months later,

he got drafted by the Packers.

And so my wife thought it was pretty cool

that we had sat right by his family and then he was playing for the Packers. He's where Jacksonville, maybe? No, he's not in the Green Bay anymore. It doesn't matter. The other thing that I remember from the game, and we actually posted about this on the show

and talked about it on the show when I came back.
