So following tonight's Michigan men's basketball game against Minnesota,

a show is debuting on the Big Ten Network called The Big Story,

The Miracle of March 8th.

And if we all remember March 8th, 2017,

that was the day that the Michigan plane slid off the runway at Willow Run.

The pilot made a harrowing and amazing decision to do what he did and save everybody's lives.

And I remember that day and reading, you know, following along and, you know, obviously the freak out of how scary their whole situation was.

And then they, the follow-up conversation situation was and then they the conference the follow

up conversation which is are they going to go to dc or they just not going to play in the big 10

tournament they had that decision they were allowed to make and then i mean think about that in

hindsight if they make a different decision this team that goes on to win four games in four days

after this harrowing experience as we all remember the bags remain in the plane for the investigation initially so they couldn't have their gear. So they go back to Chrysler. They get their practice uniforms. They pick out shoes that they had in their lockers and look a little bit like a rag tag group a little bit, right? They go try to find a way to get a little bit of sleep at home. and then the next morning, Mead at the facility at 6 a.m. Get on the bus to go to the airport.

And then they next morning, meet at the facility at 6 a.m.

And then they were flying out at around 7.30 in the morning, that Friday morning,

or should be that Thursday morning to get to D.C.

Landed D.C.

And I remember having the conversation as well that Thursday morning.

The Big Ten couldn't push back Michigan's game and flip the first two games or something.

I remember having those conversations, and I understand the logistical issues of doing that because of TV, radio and other things that are going.
