So a couple of victories at the Chrysler Center over the weekend for the maze and blue.

I talked about, of course, the men and their victory on Saturday over Iowa.

And then yesterday the women held on to beat Northwestern 60-54.

I should say they held on and then pulled away to win 60-54 over Northwestern at the Chrysler Center.

As I said, I was listening to the game on my way back from Mack, and then I checked in with my people that were at the game to get their recap of what they saw.

And Michigan got out to a nice, nice, but a fairly nice lead in the first quarter.

It was not a very good shooting performance.

And really shooting is a difference in this game being a six-point game at the end that Michigan won or much more.

If you make your free throws and you just hit a few more shots on a really poor shooting afternoon.

But Michigan was able to jump out to a seven-point lead in the first quarter, but

Northwestern clipped away at that.

I think the lead was up to nine in the second quarter.

But Northwestern chipped away at it, and it was a one-point Michigan lead at the half.

They were up 32-31.

Northwestern owned the third quarter.

It was only a 13-8 tally on the board in the third quarter at Northwestern with the

edge.

They took the lead.

And Michigan, with just the 10 minutes to go, had to come from behind to get this win.

But led by Olivia Olson, who scored, I believe was Michigan's first seven points of the

fourth quarter.
