It's time to check in with some players from the Michigan football team who met with the media last night.

We're going to have a couple for you this morning, both on the offensive side of the ball, which makes sense since we have the Michigan football offensive breakdown to bring to you this morning. So let's start with Captain Max. Max Bredeson met with the media. He had a lot to say. So let's get to Max first. and then we're going to get to Jake Guarnara. But first here is Captain Max Bredesen, Michigan fullback tight end. Now here on the Michigan Insider on the big 1050 WTCA. We're into the season now. You can feel the airplane taken off. Like guys settling in their roles. Like once you get into the season, like roles are kind of defined, but it turns into, like, mastery of your role. Like, being as good as your role can be, so you can make it expand even more. What do you make in the three-win start? Yeah, definitely good to get the, like, the big on the road win. Like I said, you can kind of feel like the airplane's taken off.

Like you find your rhythm, final works, building confidence.

Like, you win your first Big Ten game.

Like, winning in the Big Ten, the old Coach Harbaugh stands, like, winning twice.

Like, it feels good.

You kind of relish a match up against a run defense like Wisconsin's this week?

Yeah, it's always good.

Like, like Big Ten football.

Like you love those type of games when the games won the line of scrimmage first.

Those ones are definitely fun.

Derek spoke about the captain's really taking charge.

Those two weeks that Coach Moore was out and really just rallying the group,

what were some ways that you yourself and just the captains as a group really were able to take charge

and keep the team even keeled and getting those two wins? Yeah um I think like we've got like great

captains on both sides of the ball who were able to kind of like take control like Derek Moore did

like an unbelievable job of like leading the defense and Derek's kind of

quiet, more reserved but like when he talks like you listen.

So being able from like the offensive side of me seeing him like do that stuff, it was really

cool.

And like for for Geo and Marlon like guys who really got it's Marlon's first year being a captain,
