Shifting gears from basketball to football for a little bit here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA on line of the Big 1050.com. Yesterday we heard from Sharon Moore. We'll get to him in just a little bit. We also heard from Michigan tight end Marlon Klein. So we're going to bring the captain to you right now. So here is tight end Captain Marlon Klein from yesterday now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA. So what are your thoughts on playing at Wrigley?

What are you most looking forward to or questioning about the venue? You know, I think first thing I'm looking forward to is playing a great football team. You know, I've been watching those guys for a couple of weeks now. And I think they do a great job on defense especially. I haven't watched too much of their offense because I won't be playing

their offense. But yeah, they're a great football team, so it will be a great matchup, a historic

venue. Never really, you know, growing up in Germany, I don't really know too much about baseball,

but Jimmy Rolter was my roommate for four years. So he's from Chicago and a huge Cubs fan,

so I know how pumped up he is. So, yeah, it'll be a great opportunity for us. Over to your right here, John? Just from your perspective, what has led to Zach Marshall taking such a jump this year? Yeah, I'm not surprised by it at all. I mean, the kid comes in here, you know, puts his head down and works each and every single day.

And I think that's the best part about our room.

Like, we have so many guys that, you know, can play football and play football out at, you know, against whoever, you know, against Washington.

You saw Deacon Tonnelly and Zach Marshall take over the show.

And I think that's a, you know, huge shout out to shout out to Coach Kasula, getting anybody ready to play. But yeah, it doesn't surprise me that. He's been doing what he's doing out there. Two more on your right. About halfway back, Charles. Yeah, how is the tight end room continue to contribute despite having different guys with injuries? Yeah, honestly, I think whatever Coach Lindsey and Coach Kissela will ask of us will do,

we're not really worried about how many catches we're going to end up having at the end of the year.

Obviously, everybody wants the 10 touchdown seasons and 500 yards and all that stuff,

but we just want to win and whatever's asked of us will do.

So we obviously, obviously i mean we're

always on the field on every single play so uh we're going to be asked to do a lot of different

things and that's what we're going to do just in the front here ryan speaking of injuries i mean

you had that break or a breakout game in the first year in the season that i've had a lot of

injuries since i guess yeah how have you battled through that? Has there been any point of frustration when you get 100% it seems like you get banged up again? Yeah, I think, I mean, obviously, I think right now I feel 100% and I'm ready to play those next three games at 100% and obviously like getting banged up week two before the

Oklahoma game was a huge bummer for me but you know I wasn't I wasn't worried about our

offense and you know how that was going to impact it because I knew Zach Marshall was going to do

his thing and Hogan Hanson was out there playing so yeah I think that's that's one of the

things that makes me you know not really worried like when I go down like I'm not worried about our offense and how that's going to affect it. So I don't really think about it too much.
