So when you see Indiana on the Michigan basketball schedule coming into play,

Dussie, me, obviously there's that connection that Dussie went to Indiana, he's from there,

et cetera.

We have that connection.

But I don't think that many of us really thought a whole lot about the fact that Indiana fans,

whichever however many fans they bring to the basketball game tonight. I don't, I mean, they were a, they were a basketball school.

They were a basketball school. And, but we're going to watch them play basketball tonight.

And they're now about football school. It's a remarkable story.

So obviously we know what happens on the field.

Somebody posted a picture of game one of the Kurt Signetti era of a game at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington.

And it was like 20% capacity.

Like there was nobody there. There was a nice little chunk in the student section, not a great chunk, but a little chunk in the student section. And then there were just fans scattered throughout the stadium. It was, they weren't playing any, you know, big time opponents. So they didn't have any fans really coming in front of the opponent. And so the stadium was basically empty. And that's what we know of Indiana football.

Indiana football, prior to this year, had won three bowl games ever.

They won three postseason games this year.

They won three bowl games ever in the history of Indiana football.

So you think of Indiana basketball and you think that they're, you know,

it's a big game coming up on the schedule and you circle this one as one of the big matchups for Michigan this season because there

were some things that were expected out of DeVries in his first year as the new head coach

Indiana they were expected he was expected to elevate that program well they have not been

able to elevate that program yet he has not been able to elevate that program yet he's got

a lot of work to do hopefully he does not take a positive step, you know, for his program tonight here in Ann Arbor at the Chrysler Center. But I spent a lot of the time of the game. Obviously, I was enjoying the game last night. But when you're from the beginning of the game when you see the crowd and then throughout the course of the game when you're listening to the crowd of the football game last night and you think about how Indiana basketball of course would have an unbelievable home court advantage but Indiana football just a couple of years ago they had right right before even the beginning of the Signetti era, but right before
