Yesterday we heard from three football players, an offensive lineman and two receivers.

So we'll start with the big man, Gio L. Hottie.

He had a lot to say talking about his move back to left guard and more.

So here is GOL Hottie back for another year along Michigan's offensive line.

Meeting with the media yesterday.

In your room, I guess what's that like after having sort of risen your wife to the ranks?

It's kind of crazy, you know, it's been a long journey, but yeah, I've been braced through the last couple years and it's good. you know, teaching the young kids, like, well, I went through these, we know how it all goes.

We felt the same way.

Just trying to give them pointers, tell them not to overthink, because if you're overthinking or mess up your mind even more.

After the way things went last year, what's the message to the room this year?

Last year was unacceptable.

Yeah, towards the end of the season, we jell together.

We played the way that we were supposed to, but there's no more of that.

We've got to play to our absolute best and show the country that we're on the best off as the lines.

Can you put a finger on what went wrong? I guess I think it was Grant Newsom saying.

Maybe things kind of felt like they were snowballing it had been a long time since a couple losses and just not going to respond.

You're talking about as the O-line or just?

I guess just, I mean, if you want to speak to the O-line or maybe as a team, how would you?

I think we just didn't gel as much at the beginning as we did towards the end.
