Hello everyone.

I am a student, a PhD student in philosophy at Catholic University of America

living at the Dominican Society Studies and Father Patrick Mary and I are delighted to be talking with you today.

Our subject we chose for today is we want to unpack in very broad strokes. This might be wildly irresponsible, but that's not going to stop us.

Nonetheless, it never has, in fact, stopped us.

We're going to unpack in very broad strokes,

this shift between what we think are two very different cosmologies,

two very different ways of looking at the world, experiencing the world of living and thinking,

we're going to unpack the difference between a kind of ancient worldview and a modern worldview.

In the history of the United States of America,

which is kind of unique in the histories of nations

throughout the world, there was one revolution, right?

1776. You could, maybe the war between the states, you might say it was a revolution too, but really, yeah, one found

the way that, the way that you taught history in fourth grade.
