So in addition to obviously portal is still happening and all that kind of good stuff in college football.

The next in college athletics, the next thing that we're paying attention to there is what's going on with this house settlement and the ramifications from it.

So one, of course, we have roster limits being debated.

We know that the judge wants the roster limits to be grandfathered in,

to be phased in over the course of time,

to not have anybody lose their eligibility and lose a roster spot.

Unfortunately, this is the debate that's going on right now.

A lot of schools around the country,

they've actually already cut athletes.

They already told athletes, we don't have a spot for you.

They had, you know, for years you were recruiting an athlete.

I heard multiple stories like this in sports like volleyball and basketball or volleyball

and soccer and where you had an athlete go, it's been my dream to play whatever the sport was.

I think like Penn State was one of the schools.

And the coach from that school had to call the athlete who had been committed for like

two years to their dream school where they wanted to play their favorite sport.

And the coach had to call after like multiple years of commitment and say, yeah yeah the new rules are coming in and we don't have a roster spot for you because the rules state that we are have to go from and you know certain teams are going down in roster spots obviously in football it's not about scholarships anymore which was 85 85. It's about roster spots, which is 105.

Used to carry 125 in fall camp.

And now that number is down to 105.

So obviously, that's just a roster number, not a scholarship thing.

But you look at other sports and soccer, I know is one of them, where the numbers come
