All right, let's flip our attention then to this Wisconsin defense that maybe fewer injury concerns and as a result a bit more success.

Defensive coordinator is Mike Tressel.

His goal, the program's goal, I'm sure, was to fix a defense that last year was below average.

And certainly when you look at a badger's team that prides itself on

physicality and sound defense, not up to standard. Last year, the badgers were 91st in

rushing yards allowed nationally, 128th in havoc rate that's near the bottom nationally,

and last in tackles for loss a season ago. Early returns are positive, at least from a rushing defense perspective.

Wisconsin enters as the number one rush defense in the country at just 50 yards per game

And I think what's most impressive to me and maybe most important against the

Michigan defense or Michigan offense that's been so explosive this year in the run game,
