The recruiting conversation continues.

You heard the commitment in the last segment of McAil Blade, Chicago four-star edge defender picking the Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan Insider on the big 1050 WTK. So Alan True, what is Michigan getting in McHale Blade?

Yeah, so first they're getting a guy who made a ton of plays in the backfield as a sophomore

at Hillcrest High School. Then he transferred to Simeon.

And as I mentioned, injury kept him from playing a lot last year.

But when you look at what Michigan does with their ends, and I did talk to Mikhail

beforehand and asked him how Michigan told him they're planning to use him.

And he said, I'll be standing up sometimes, hand down sometimes, but definitely on the

edge because there was some thought early in his career

that he might grow into an inside guy just because of the way he was built.

But he stayed right around, you know, 255, 260 pounds.

And so the plan is to play him on the edge.

And when I look at how Michigan used Josiah Stewart last year, how they used Derek

Moore, the kind of multiple

ways those guys got used hand in the dirt sometimes, standing up sometimes. I think McHale Blade

can do just that. You know, I think we really need to talk about how from day one, Lou was on

McKale. Like, this was like the first guy, one of the was on McHale.

Like, this was like the first guy, one of the first guys he started recruiting.

I think that that stands out to me how much of a priority he made McKell from day one.
