We'll get back to the Pistons at the top of the hour. But a couple of minutes on the second major of the golf season. What a fun weekend. That turned out to be thick, treacherous, rough, massive, sloping greens made for a really fun tournament. The action was the leaderboards were packed. it was definitely not always names

that you were familiar with if you were only

looking for like the biggest name guys, like a Scotty Sheffler who did not have his best tournament.

But what a fun weekend it turned out to be.

Now, Aaron Rye ends up running away with it and winning by three shots over Smalley and Rahm, four shots over Justin Thomas, Oberg and Schmidt. And then the list goes on down from there. You expected a guy like McElroy, who was sitting there at what, a three under par going into the day or two under par going to the day. He thought he'd do a little bit better yesterday. Zander Shoffley thought he had a little bit of a better day yesterday. Same thing with guys like Justin Rose or Scotty Schaeffler.

We can kind of go down the list, the biggest name guys that didn't perform on that last

day yesterday like we expected them to do.

But Aaron Rye, wow, what a phenomenal, phenomenal performance he put in.

It was, he survived.

Like, at the end of the day, everybody else seemed to be going left, right, long, short,

whatever case may be.

The moment never got too big for Aaron Rye.

And it's, you can go back and actually it started with, well, it felt like the whole day was going to be too big for Aaron Rye.

Because he opened up the day with bogeys on one, four.

I'm sorry, birdie on one, bogey on three, birdie on four, bogey on six, bogey on eight.

And he was one over part heading into his ninth hole.

And he was, as he was hitting the ninth hole he was

I think three shots out of the lead at that point in time he was three back when he was going

to tee off number nine again three bogies and two birdies through eight holes in the front nine

but he eagled nine had birdies on 11 13 16 and 17, and 17 plus pars on 10, 12, 14, 15, and 18.

He was phenomenal in his last 10 holes.
