So a couple of pieces of Michigan news and notes that were significant from yesterday.

First and foremost, congratulations to Fred Richard from men's gymnastics and Savannah

Sutherland from women's track.

They are the U of them athletes of the year.

I'm sure the competition for the voting was stiff.

There are a lot of great athletes, obviously, each and every year on campus.

I have a hard time separating or when it comes to individual athletes,

you know, athletes from individual sports versus athletes from team sports.

It can be difficult to separate them.

So, you know, as a football player or a basketball player more worthy than a track athlete

or a wrestler, it becomes very difficult, especially when I get to, I'm not voting for

Michigan's athlete of the year.

That's up to the Michigan people over at U of them.

But I do have a vote for the Big Ten athlete of the year where I have the athletes,

the male athletes of the year from all 18 schools, and I have to rank them one, two, and three.

And then I have the same thing with the female athletes from all 18 schools in the Big Ten,

and I have to rank them one, two, and three.

And then we get the votes due Friday.

And then we find out, I think, next week,

or maybe it's the week after who the athletes of the year are in the Big Ten Conference.

And I'll be honest, of all the years that Michigan has had athletes,
