So as we've been discussing a little bit, at least a little bit over the last couple days.

Today used to be a holiday.

Today was commitments.

We would have a big day a few years or a couple years.

Michigan had their signing of the stars event.

But we used to have our

signing day extravaganza. We would introduce you in person and on the phone to just about every

player in the Michigan football recruiting class. And times have changed, right? They changed the

recruiting calendar. They introduced the early signing period, which I don't think you can call it

the early signing period anymore if it is the primary signing period.

So I think we should call it the signing period.

And then this one is kind of the late signing period.

And guys are making decisions at the end of the equation.

And of course, the one that's making the decision today is Ty Heywood, who is a very

highly ranked player in the class of 2025. Another offensive lineman, he is, what, according to

247 sports, he is 42nd nationally, the 10th offensive tackle and the 12th player in Texas, according to

247 Sports Composite, which brings all the rankings together. He is the 39th player nationally,

and he is the sixth offensive tackle overall nationally. And you think about what he would add to

the Michigan offensive line room just in this class.

Obviously, you have Andrew Babelola, who is in this class, who is the number one offensive tackle

or the number two offensive tackle, depending upon, I guess, where you look in the rankings.
