| 0:00.0 | Welcome back inside the Interoper Studios of the Big 1050 WTK online at the Big 1050.com. Michigan 4 and 1 on the season about to head out to L.A for their matching with USC this Saturday night at 730 on NBC and here on the Big 1050 WTKA yesterday for Michigan Monday with the Michigan football team. We heard from head coach Sharon Moore. We heard from wide receiver Donovan McCauley. We heard from tight end Marlon Klein. We'll get to the players coming up in a little bit. But right now, here is head coach Sharon Moore from yesterday, |
| 0:24.8 | now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. |
| 0:28.8 | Are you guys going out to Los Angeles Thursday? |
| 0:32.6 | Yeah, we're going to leave Thursday. Last year, the West Coast trip to Washington, we felt like a little groggy, a little slow start. |
| 0:41.1 | Guys played well, but felt like it just needed a little time. |
| 0:44.6 | I talked to a lot of people in the offseason, obviously having a wink here, NFL background. |
| 0:49.3 | So we're going to leave Thursday. |
| 0:50.8 | We're going to do everything normal on Thursday. |
| 0:55.2 | I know guys probably would want to leave early Thursday, but they need to go to class. Still student athletes. So they'll |
| 0:59.6 | go to class, do all that, and then we'll leave Thursday, be there Friday. We'll get a chance |
| 1:03.8 | to practice at the bolt, which is cool. So I know they got an away game, but, so that's |
| 1:10.1 | another great Michigan connection, Michigan West. |
| 1:14.0 | So we'll leave Thursday, get there Friday, spend all their Friday, |
| 1:18.0 | and make it as normal as possible for the kids, and then play on Saturday. |
| 1:22.7 | On the left there, I say it. |
| 1:24.3 | Kind of piggybacking off of that. |
| 1:25.6 | Why is it so challenging, especially for student athletes, to be able to travel a couple time zones and still kind of play at the high. Yeah, I mean, I think it's the same thing. Like when you travel just in general when you're going time zones and you're adjusting on the clock and you're adjusting through the air, you know, flying dehydrates you. It's one thing. And then, you know, you got to recover a little bit more. So I think it's just different, different atmospheres, not necessarily just being away. So I think it's just a challenge. You have to, you have to attack because if you go to the NFL, you got to do the same thing. And, you know, the team's flying this way. You got to adjust as well. Also, I think you can't make those things an excuse. You just got to go attack them and figure out ways to get better with it. So that's why we're finding out Thursday to hopefully have a better grasp on trying to make that, like it's Ann Arbor over there. On that right here, Tony. Before we're wondering about USC. i just had one about this this past weekend i mean obviously |
| 2:19.3 | people talk about the drops |
| 2:20.9 | but also like don't make it plays andrew make a play so there are guys who can do it |
| 2:25.8 | and Bryce has showed touch and like layering passes in as well |
| 2:29.8 | yeah but it feels like some of his passes underneath come in pretty hot |
| 2:33.2 | do you do you see that at all or is there any discussion about maybe some of those? |
