He was an All-American out of Clarkston High School in the early 80s where he went on to the University of Michigan to a standout career to become a first round draft pick.

Spend 10 years in the National Basketball Association where it has since become one of

the best basketball commentators in the land, both in the NBA.

He commentates for the NBA for the NBA's Detroit Pistons.

They're back in the playoffs.
