So we're recapping, reliving.

Going through Michigan's 2413 lost Oklahoma down on Saturday night down in Norman, Oklahoma.

This Saturday, of course, it's Michigan versus Central Michigan at noon at Michigan Stadium.

So in this one on Saturday night, Michigan wins a toss and defers. And generally speaking, that's how you want it go. And Michigan actually, in that opening drive defensively, they did a few nice things.

Unfortunately, they couldn't do enough nice things because they had a third nine.

And there was a tight end, make it a one hit and grab down the scene for 31 yards.

There was a third in nine and it ends up with a free play, but receivers wide open

down the sideline for 21 yards.

And then at third and three, you have a quarterback run for two and then it's fourth and

one and the quarterback power runs it for three yards to get the first down and eventually

they score the touchdown.

But Michigan is able to force long third downs on the very opening drive for Oklahoma,

but they cannot get off the field.

Now, I would look, I will say that it feels like, and we'll get more into this,

I'm sure, well, I know for sure in a little bit here when we discuss our players the game,

but right from the very beginning of the game, that 39 play maybe in particular,

but a lot of plays on that drive and And throughout the course of the first half, you could really feel the presence or lack thereof of J. Sean Barham in that suspension from the targeting call that should have been overturned. But you could see, you could feel that presence, his presence or lack of presence, you could really sense it and you can

really feel it.

That third and nine play might have been, the first of the third and nine plays might have been one in particular where I feel that. So where I felt that. So it's 7-0, 5 minutes in the game. But Michigan starts moving the ball. They get the ball first and everything's all right. you have a, the run game in particular is, but you have a, Justice Haynes gets a nice,

a little bit of, you know, 40 yards in the first play. are right you have a uh the run game in particular is uh but you have a um justice haines
