So let's relive the Michigan football victory 63 to 3 on Saturday afternoon over central

Michigan at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan is two and one on the season.

Non-conference play is now done.

And the next head to Nebraska this Saturday for a 3.30 kickoff with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

And of course, the Michigan Wolverines will be or continue to be without head coach Sharon Moore.

His suspension started at 1201 Saturday morning.

And then it will wrap up Saturday night after the team gets back from Lincoln, Nebraska.

He can resume contact, I guess, after 11.59 p.m.

So at midnight, he can then Saturday night into Sunday morning, he can resume contact with his team.

So a big week of practice for the Wolverines without their head coach.

And it'll be a very interesting week of practice to them.

But they went into the week doing exactly what they needed to do.

And they took care of business. And the very first drive of the game is our drive of the game.

As Central Michigan wins a toss, they defer.

And Michigan gets the ball after a touchback of their own 25-yard line.

This drive, they face a couple of third and threes, including a couple of third-downs, including third and three of their own 32-yard line. And it was a pretty easy pitch and catch from Bryce Underwood to Hoganson for a 10-yard gain. And Michigan came out throwing. Play action deep on the first. Now, Bryce threw it in double coverage. It was a near interception, but it was incomplete. The second downplay was a swing pass to Samaj Morgan for seven yards. And then the third downplay was that pitching catch to Hogan Hanson. And then on first and 10, it was a play action pass to Donovan McCauley for first down. And then after four pass attempts, finally the first run of the game for Michigan on first and 10, and they pick up a couple of yards. The very next play, though, was another play action pass, a rolling left play for Bryce Underwood. He finds Donovan McCulley for 16 yards, and the Wolverines are cooking with gas early in the game. And always good to see that the team is rolling early on in a game when it means they practice that plan, plan the opening script and they've got it pretty good and of course opponent does come into play a little bit of this well but then uh haines for five uh incomplete pass

on second and five setting up the second third down play of the drive and this one was a really

key one to show uh that bryce was kind kind of ready to showcase a little bit more in addition to the throwing part, which they were doing obviously early in the drive. But third and five from the central Michigan 24 yard line, Bryce scrambles for 15 yards. There was no pass lane available to him. So he took a rush lane that had a lot of room. He picks up those 15 yards and goes from the 24 down to the 9 yard line. And showing the ability, we know he has the ability to run. He just didn't do it a whole lot. Really the first couple of games. And so it was nice to see him start to use his feet a little bit more. And he obviously used that even more so throughout the course of the game and he picks up that key first down after a defensive pass interference.
