So before we get to basketball, the Tigers finally snapped their losing streak.

It reached eight games.

They were in the midst of the day night double header.

The split double header on Sunday.

They lost the first game.

And then they finally ended their series in Baltimore with a win.

So they snapped it on Sunday night with a 4-1 victory.

And so the Tigers nightmare, well, however briefly, it ended on Sunday night.

The bats finally did enough to go along with the pitching.

And Melton, Holton, and Anderson on Sunday night did a great job teaming up for those

nine innings to get the win.

So if tigers finally get a victory and they snap that loser streak, they'll be back in action.

They were off yesterday.

They needed the off day yesterday.

Now they welcome the Angels to Comerica Park for a three-game series. And we talk about, you know, can you maybe get yourself back on track a little bit as the, as you try to get some guys back from the injured list? Well, we talked about this. It feels like forever ago was the beginning of May. And they were playing teams at the bottom of the standings. And they didn't win. Well, you're playing the Angels. Angels have the worst record in the American League by a game. A game over you. So have a little pride. And over these next three days, tonight, tomorrow night, and Thursday afternoon, have a little pride. And can you take two out of three, if not all three? I know I'm being greedy here, but can you take two out of three? It's possible. You've got Cater on the Mounds tonight. You have Casey Mize on the mound tomorrow night. And then it'll be Flaherty on the Mount on Thursday. So my optimism starts to falter and fall a lot at that point in time.

But can the Tigers get a couple of wins to start this series against the terrible

angels?

Just played the terrible Orioles.

Lost two or three to them.

Now you're playing the terrible angels.
