Welcome back inside the Inarbor Studios of the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. Michigan basketball, men's basketball 1 and 0 so far this season. A week ago, they beat Oakland on an opening night. Coming up tomorrow night, they play Wake Forest down at Little Seasons Arena in the Wolverine Deacon Challenge. And then coming up on Friday night, they'll be down in the Metroplex and they'll'll play at TCU, down in Fort Worth.

So big bout week of basketball head for the Michigan men's basketball team.

And welcome folks to another edition of the Michigan Basketball Insider here with Tim McCormick,

Michigan Basketball underway. Week one in the books, week two, going to be exciting as the

Wolverines going to be playing Wake Force. I got TCU later and we go Wake Forest right on the horizon.

We got a chance to see the Wolverines come out of the gates on fire,

joining me to talk about this and that like he does every single week,

man who was the pride of Clarkston High School,

one of the best out of the state of Michigan when he came out and then went to the University of Michigan where he was the best

to do it on the hardwood at Chrysler, first round draft pick in the National Basketball Association

where he played for 10 years and since retiring has been one of the best

basketball commentators in the land. But I'd like to introduce him first as my guy, my man, my

big fella, Timmy Mac, Tim McCormick, Tim, how you doing? I'm happy, Sam, we're underway. We've got

college hoops, we've got games to watch and scout and break down, emerging stars,

storylines that are intriguing. I am good. Tim, you know, I like to temper things. People say,

yeah, you know, you're optimistic, but I tend to be reserved in saying what teams are going to do.

But man, as openers go, I don't know that I've been more impressed with Michigan

basketball in an opener.

Maybe I've been as impressed, but more, I don't know that I've been more impressed with a Michigan

basketball team in an opener than I was with Michigan, as they absolutely smoked Oakland.
