Yesterday it was Scrimmage Day for the first time for the Detroit Lions.

So we get our daily Lions fix as we check in with head coach Dan Campbell who talked to the media yesterday.

Now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTCA.

Okay.

So this is good.

This will be our first scrimmage that we will have in camp here.

You know, most of it will be focused to the, you know, the group of guys that I don't see playing, you know, in a couple of days for the Chargers.

So we're really going to get them a number of reps here, get them some good intensity.

And the other guys will still practice.

It just won't be as much as these guys because we know they're getting ready for the game,

but also they need practice as well.

So this will be good.

Man, it would be competitive.

First chance to, you know, to get a pretty good dose without it being scripted.

You know, here we go, man.

You know, spot it where it lies.

And this is the situation, the scenario.

And this is going to be good for us as a staff and for the players so excited about today.

What do you want to see from Hendon and Kyle on Thursday night?

What would make you come out of that going, okay, that was a good performance?

Yeah, just, man, make the right decisions.
