And once again, it is time for our weekly check-in with Michigan men's lacrosse coach,

Kevin Connery. Coach, welcome back to the show. How are you?

I'm doing great. Thanks for asking.

I can imagine doing pretty well. Team now seven and five on the season, three and one in Big Ten play

with one game remaining. And your most recent game was this past weekend. You were in Piscato, in New Jersey, and it was a low-scoring but big play kind of game,

and it was a win, and not just an eight-sixth win for Michigan, but your first ever win at Rutgers.

Unbelievable, right?

I mean, it was one of those things that was a gut check for us.

They've had our number for the last couple of years.

I'm not sure we played our best version of lacrosse, but at the same time, give our guys a lot of credit.

They were resilient.

They were gritty.

And we came up with some plays down the stretch to seal it in.

And what we've seen now from your team over the course of the season, you play high-scoring

games, you've had obviously dominant victories.

But in this case, this is a low-scoring, kind of a grinding kind of game that your team

had a few more big plays, came out on the other end.

A couple guys, one guy in particular I want to shout out, Ryan Cohen now is up to 21

consecutive games with multi-points and 21 consecutive games with multi points and 60 consecutive games

with a point.

Yeah, Ryan's been unbelievable here for four years.
