And it's once again time for our weekly check-in with Michigan men's lacrosse coach Kevin Connery.

Coach, welcome back to the show. How are you?

I'm doing great. Thank you.

It's great to have you here on the show and coming in on the heels of another home victory.

You had back-to-back home games on Tuesdays. We talked last week, of course, about the win over Canetius, which was a 16-2 win.

Well, you followed that up with another 14-goal victory.

This time it was over Cleveland State this week.

19 to 5 was the final score in this one, coach.

And it was close in the first quarter.

And then in that second and third quarter, you just put your foot on the gas and blew the doors off.

Take us through this game.

Yeah, I think whenever you play a Tuesday matchup, five o'clock, you're sitting around all day,

sometimes it takes a little bit of time to get the juju going. So our guys kind of were really dialed in.

We had some good looks early. Credit to Cleveland State about how they came out and just kind of had some popular step.

And we were forced to, you know, take a right cross.

And I'm proud of our guys.

We responded really, really well and put a solid game together.

So you got that win, and we're now getting towards the end of this non-conference

slate.

We talked about you had a lot of interesting, unique challenges that you presented to your team.

Now you've had these last couple of home games getting some wins under your belt.
