And so 22 days away from the start of the Michigan football season, the number 22 being sported by Justice Haynes, who comes by way of Alabama, formerly of Grayson High School,

a five-star running back out of high school, you know, when he hit the portal.

He was looking to go to a spot where he could blaze a trail,

create a name for himself,

carve out a spot that he wasn't able to carve out at Alabama.

You look at the situation at Michigan,

you can make the argument that, you know, that this wasn't

the most prime of opportunities with seemingly an heir apparent in place in Jordan Marshall, right?

A player of the year from Ohioio so a regional guy you know a footprint guy uh a guy who uh you know

if if you're coming in from grace in high school you coming in from you know the state of

Georgia coming in from an SEC you know coming in from the SCC you're coming in from, you know, the state of Georgia, coming in from an SEC, you know, coming in from the SEC area, transferring in.

You have to learn that the scheme, learn the system. You're going to be at a deficit.

Yeah, you're going to be a bit behind. That is not necessarily a, you know, a door that's wide open as a transfer.

And yet he came anyway.

Says something about him.

It also says something about Jordan Marshall as well that he said hey pursue the best guy out

there we hear from Jordan a little bit later on but he said hey pursue the best guy out there

and that's what happened just decided to come as Michigan pursued him he is been in the, you know, been through spring ball now in the fall camping.
