And it's now time for our first check-in to the soccer season with Michigan women's soccer coach, Jen Klein coach. Welcome back to the show. How are you? Yeah, excited to be here. I can't believe we're already kicking off the fall season, you know, school starting. And it's great to be back. And I always use your team as kind of my gauge because your team is the first team back on campus and in competition. You had a couple of exhibition games at the beginning of the month, and then you get underway. You already have two games under your belt, so this is a season preview slash catching up because you already have a 2-1 win on the road at Villanova last

Thursday, a 4-0 win at home against Detroit Mercy a couple days ago here in Ann Arbor.

And so now a 2-0 start to the season.

But let's more big picture about your team.

Just, you know, I always ask about things like where are you going to get your goal scoring

from, that kind of thing this year.

And it feels like we have an early indication of where you might be getting your

score.

Yeah.

I think, you know, really happy.

I think we're very optimistic and feel really good about where the team is.

I think it all really started in the work that those that were with us in the spring and winter

did. You know, we were fortunate.

In May, we got to go on an international trip with our team to Copenhagen and Stockholm,

which was an unbelievable great experience.

And then, you know, you get through the summer and fast forward to July when everyone gets back on campus

and we added, you know, our new freshmen and two more transfers into the mix and what they did.

And, you know, the weeks that we had prior to the start of last week has just been unbelievable.

But just excited about the team, the work that they've done to really just put themselves in a good place.

And it feels great to be 2-0 at the start of the start of the season.

To catch you up real quickly, there is a very familiar name for Michigan fans for the many years that has joined your roster.

She is a sophomore transfer from Vanderbilt.
