Some big news that happened yesterday in terms of free agency across the board.

We'll start with the NFL side because that one, there are a lot of, well, actually,

you know, we'll start with the NBA because the NBA one

probably doesn't get a lot of pub around this time of year, even though they have a show on

the four-letter network. But if you missed it yesterday, Caleb Williams, or Caleb Houston,

I should say, the former Wolverine who was drafted by the Orlando Magic

had signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks, so he is just moving up, up I-75 to join the

Hawks. So we will see him in the red and yellow rather than the blue and black.

But the other big news that came from yesterday and it was, I don't want to say it was a big surprise, but it's also significant because of what this guy is going to be making

over the long haul of his, you know, of these next few

years. Damien Lillard, dame time is going to be returning back to the Portland Trailblazers

signing a three-year $42 million contract. And he has the player option in 27 and 28 and a no trade clause.

So he's going to be with Portland at the very least for two more years, for two years.

Here is the thing that's really going to blow your mind.

He's probably not going to play next year because he's dealing

with the torn Achilles, the Achilles injury that he sustained in the playoffs when he was

with the Bucks. They released him, obviously, if you miss that last month. But he's 35 and he is going to be making a lot of money.

He still has money still on the table from, um, let's see, Lillard now, this is coming from

ESPN.

Lillard now will have a 25, 26 set salary.

Now, mind you, I said three years and 42 mil.
