And once again, joining us, he does each and every season here on the show is Michigan men's lacrosse coach, Kevin Connery.

Coach, welcome back.

Another season of Michigan men's lacrosse ninth season at the helm.

Amazing.

Yeah, time goes pretty fast um i remember our first couple

conversations and you know just kind of helping the the public learn more about lacrosse and

now i think we're um you know to establish brand here in the neighborhood and and people are

excited about our season coming off of a 500 season overall but you finished three and two last

year in the big 10 which was tied for second place in the big 10 you went to the big 10 semifinals last year etc but now it's on to a new team and learning about your team as the early stages as you get these first opportunities to see your team and most of these opportunities will either be indoors or not here on campus for the next little bit based on the weather. But before we can get into that, just kind of

take us through your team a little bit. I was going through your roster a little bit, a unique

this new era of athletics and intercollegiate athletics where you have essentially five classes

of players. You have eight grad students, 10 seniors, 13 juniors, 10 sophomores, and 15 freshmen.

So let's go through this roster a little bit and introduce us to the Michigan

men's lacrosse team in 2026.

Absolutely. Yeah. I think every year offers a new opportunity to welcome the new group

and identify some things of where we can really close to our roster, but also really a

active recruiting cycle. The transfer portal offers a lot of great lacrosse players

looking for our second home. So we've been very fortunate to make some connections to the

transfer portal as well. Altogether, we have 21 new players on our roster from last year.

You know, we had 21 new players. It's about, you know, creating a team.

And we spend all of our fall building a roster, building a team, building an identity,
