Welcome back to the Ann Arbor Studios at the Big 1050 WTKA online at the Big 1050.com. It was a really fun drive home yesterday. First of all, had a chance to listen to a lot of in the end of the Duke Yukon game, listen to the Michigan hockey game. And also listen to what we're about to hear, which is Dusty May, Yaksa Lendeberg, Namari Burnett, and Will Cheddar, who had their media availability after winning the game.

And while I was doing all that, I'm driving around all these cars with Michigan tags, heading

east from Chicago, back to Michigan with smiles.

I saw students in cars.

I saw families in cars.

I saw, you know, guys trip.

I has a whole bunch of different people road tripping back from the short jaunt back from Chicago

to wherever they were going in Michigan, Ann Arbor and beyond.

And I'm sure there will be a lot more of that coming up this weekend with the final four

being down in Indianapolis.

Now, the one setback, I guess, as far as acquiring tickets for a fair amount of people or for some people, if you're looking on the secondary market, is that Illinois was the first team to qualify for the final four. They obviously are the closest. This would have been even worse if Purdue would be in Arizona, but you have Illinois wins the first game on Saturday. And so their fans are the first fans to know they qualified for the final four and they're only only a couple hours from the Final Four. Yeah, they were gobbling up tickets. They were raising the prices in the secondary market. And then I didn't really look a whole lot last night, but I know it's going to be pretty pricey for Saturday night. If Michigan wins on Saturday night and Illinois loses, I expect a lot of you then to be able to acquire those Illinois tickets and make the

jump down on Monday night next week.

But one game at a time, this Saturday night, well, really one game at a time.

We got to celebrate what we saw yesterday in Chicago.

What a performance by, first of all, Yaxa Lendeborg is just, I mean, he put the team on his

back and did Big Ten Player of the Year kind of things all weekend long. He was phenomenal. But the entirety of the team making impacts all across the board. Big plays on offense, big plays on defense. Obviously, Yax is the headliner, but another double-digit effort off the bench from Trey McKinney. Marez ends the game with 12 and 5. He goes 8 of 11 at the free throw line. Now, they did go 27 to 37 at the free throw line. You'd like to be a little better than that if you want to nitpick here. They did miss 10 free throws. And Arizona shoots a lot of free throws. And if you get into a free throw contest with them on Saturday night, you need to make free throws. but Merez also, as I said, finishes with a dozen

points. Die has 11 points. He ends up with a couple of blocks. He has a steel in the game. He should

had another block and one less foul. Don't get me started on the first foul. The game was

ridiculous. Nomari Burnett had a really nice game at home with 10.7 rebounds and Michigan,

after an early part of the game where

they were getting beat on the glass a little bit. They put their foot on the gas, 21-0 run.

What did it end up being at the end of the first half? Like 32 to 10 or something like that,
