And into early this morning, the Michigan men's basketball team beat UC San Diego 6865 to advance to the second round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Tomorrow they'll play Texas A&M at 515 in Denver.

Yeah, first of all, I want to congratulate UC San Diego on the year that, not only the

year they had, but the way they they carry themselves the way they play the game

they're fun to compete against and sometimes when you're scouting it's tough to watch as much

tape as we do watching them was actually fun to see those guys playing with the joy the togetherness

and when you win 30 games and in a league like, it shows they've got some real substance.

And a lot like our guys, they've been in close games earlier in a year, and they found ways to win.

Lately, they've been able to pull away and separate.

But a great college basketball game, but once again, just very grateful that these guys are on our team,

and they elevate their play when it means the most,

and ultimately that's what it came down to again.

Trey, after what you went through last year in this first round, you're down to when you get the chance to put your team up and you hit that three-pointer.

What was the feeling like being able to do that and overcome last year?
