As I said, yesterday we heard from Dusty May as the Wolverines are getting ready for the matchup with the Minnesota Golden Gophers coming up on Thursday in the Twin Cities.

So let's get to it.

Here is Michigan head basketball coach Dusty May meeting with the media yesterday.

Now here on the Michigan Insider here on the Big 1050 WTCA.

Well, we're pleased with our start in Big Ten

play. We feel like we're improving the week by week. We've seen a lot of different styles of play,

defenses, offenses, so a lot to learn. We still have a long way to go. I'm excited to get back on

the road and see if we can continue to perform well under

adverse conditions. But just excited to be moving in the right direction and being healthy

this time of year. Clayton? Coach Danny looked like he was kind of limping a little bit towards

the end of the game. Anything to worry about there? As of now, just day by day.

I think he came back in and squeezed off a three, so he seemed fine a couple minutes later.

And then about halfway through the year now, you guys have taken some trips and been able to,

you know, see how the strength of conditioning program has worked?

How pleased are you with Matt Aldred and the way things have gone there?

And how are your players physically at this point?

Well, we kind of have our own way of evaluating how that's going.

I think our guys look fast.

They look strong.

They look physical.

And so that's a compliment to first their work.
