This is the Big 1050 WTKA online at the big 1050.com. And this is the last non-football Michigan Friday for a while. I mean, I guess we have them during the season with two by weeks. But those don't really count because we'll be in season. This is the last Friday where we'll go to sleep and not be thinking about the Michigan Wolverines in season or getting ready to kick off the season,

which is next week, of course.

But football season is right on the corner.

I actually had a brief conversation yesterday with our guy, DG.

Devin's going to be in Lawrence, Kansas.

He's got Fresno in Kansas tomorrow night.

Of course, we have a battle of ranked teams tomorrow from Dublin, Ohio.

College football starts tomorrow.

Michigan football starts next week.

It's been 2,092 days since Ohio State last beat Michigan on the football field.

2,092 days and counting.

Yesterday, the Michigan football team introduced their captains.

Derek Moore on defense, along with Ernest Hausman and Rod Moore and our offense, Gio Oladdy, Max Bredesen, and Marlon Klein. So I named five guys that I thought could be captain and they named six and I just didn't name Marlon. So I feel bad that I shortchanged him, but I got the other five and nailed the other five. How dare. We're going to hear from captains coming up in a little bit. Also, in the 7 o'clock hour, we're going to hear from Rayshon Benny, Sam's latest edition of Behind the Uniform with Michigan Defense Tackle, Rayshon Benny is going to come to you in the 7 o'clock hour. In the 8 o'clock hour, we're going to be joined by our friend Joe Simon. The Silver Fox is going to be in studio. Silver Fox. Talk some NCAA, and he's going to talk that legal parallel between the NCAA and, of course, the law, and just talk about how maybe the NCAA doesn't always follow the law. But we'll see. We'll get his take on that coming up in the 8 o'clock hour plus, it's going to be fun to hang out with Joe for a little while.
