Well hey everybody, I am so glad you're here to join me today. I'm Joe

Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and your guide through this amazing journey

we're all on together. Now one of the many things that I love about Gardening is that it's the great equalizer

of egos, right? Because no matter how much you know, there's always more to learn. I say that all

the time. And even when you think you're at the top of your game, Mother Nature is right there to knock you off your pedestal every so often, which is fine with me. I'm good with that. But in the decades that I've been gardening personally and professionally

I've learned that you can never beat Mother Nature at her own game but it's always fun to give her a

run for her money and so that's what I just try to do is just do the best I can to keep up.

But on that note, you know we should work to be as smart as we can possibly be to

know how to respond to all those many curve balls that she's going to throw at us.

It's like being a Sherlock Holmes of our own little outdoor domain as we try to figure out all

those mysteries and wonders of gardening.

But you know if that never happens and frankly for me I hope it doesn't because I love

that every day is different and it comes with the opportunity to learn something new.

So that's just one of the things that keeps it exciting. So stick with me and step by step and week by week

We're all going to be better gardeners together and that's what it's all about.
