Talking pistons this morning. They got game one. Series got off to a good start last night. We'll get to that in just a little bit. We also after the game heard from J.B. We talked about this the other day, but it was remarkable how long it had been since the Pistons had won a series. It had been just, what, just about as long since the Pistons had won the first game of a series. Remarkable. But in a game where they led by as many as 18 in the first half, they led by 13 at the half. But the Cleveland Cavaliers cut that down in the fourth quarter.

And then the Pistons pulled away.

It was a really entertaining basketball game last night.

It featured a lot of different things, including some big shots by random guys.

I always love that.

It's the postseason.

You end up in the hockey postseason, you end up with some fourth, some fourth line guy that has, like, three goals all year having, like, some hat trick or something, some big series.

Well, it's always nice to see some guys that maybe getting some unexpected points at either from unexpected places or at unexpected times or just in the maybe at a really good time.

Like having maybe the best examples would be the first one was Giovante Green.

He had one basket in the whole game.

He scored three points.

But his bucket at the buzzer at the end of the first quarter was big.

It was big to score at that point to give the Pistons a big 16 point lead at the end of the first quarter was big. And then fast forward, the Pistons obviously led by 13 at the half. The Cavaliers are trimming into that even more. And you have Ron Holland at the end of the third quarter hitting a huge three.

The Cleveland had cut at the four points, but Ron Holland's three at the buzzer made it 83, 76 heading into the fourth quarter.

It does take away some of that momentum that your opponent had.
