So we're going to get to Michigan men's lacrosse coach Kevin Connery. I asked them if you're going to make two trips, back-to-back trips to Columbus, and you're going to be there on a Friday and then a Saturday over an eight-day period of time. You're going to play two games down there. If you can only win once, not that anybody wants to go to Columbus twice in an eight-day window, but if you're going to only win once, you won the right one, right?

And then obviously we talked about his win in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Men's lacrosse tournament. Get ready for their matchup today against Johns Hopkins in the semifinals. That matchup is coming up at 3 o'clock from Piscatoe, New Jersey. So we'll talk to Kevin Connery coming up in just a little bit here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTKA online at the big 1050.com.

And then also yesterday we had a pretty expansive conversation.

Dusty may ran the gamut for about 30 minutes meeting with the media yesterday.

And then coming up in the 7 o'clock hour, we had an awesome visit to our video set yesterday with Tammy and Tommy Carr. So kind of thought you had that the Tigers thought they had you where you want or had their opponent where they wanted them. Terrick Scoob was pretty good last night. Seven innings, five hits, two runs. Both of them earned. But his third and seven strikeouts, his third time through the batting lineup, he was perfect. So got better as the game went on. But what Terrick Scouple did and the small lead that the team gave him, they were up three, two. That was squandered by the back end of the bullpen, Jansen's third blown save of the season. and well at least it least it happened as the pisses were winning, so fewer people saw it or noticed.

But I will mention this, one note from the Tigers game last night, other than it was a disappointing performance.

And they will be back on the mountains, back on the field today.

Their game starts at 1215 down in Atlanta to wrap up the series, trying to get off the Schneide a little bit here

for the for the Tigers who lose yesterday, 4 or 3 coming off the 5-2 loss on Tuesdays

are trying to avoid the sweep at the hands of the Braves today.

But we'll say this about Kevin McGonicle, the rookie phenom.

He's now reached base safely in 26 straight starts.

That's the longest streak by a tiger's rookie rookie since 1980.

I don't know if you remember Ricky Peters in 1980,

so we hope he has, that Kevin McGonicle has a better career than Ricky Peters,
