And it's not just any Wednesday.

It's Wednesday of our Magic of Christmas week. So we're going to hear from Greta Furlong, Debbie's number one right-hand elf coming up in the 8 o'clock hour.

But it is also the first day of the early signing period in college football.

Really, we should call it the first signing period in college football because most of the top players are going to sign today.

Players can start signing or sending in their letters as soon as 7 a.m. to make it official. And no places like Penn State still do not have a football coach as we start the early signing period. Hey, the coaches wanted an earlier signing period. So here we are. The earlier signing period than it used to be, what, a couple weeks later in December, and now it is even earlier in December.

So here we are.

We have the early signing period, the first signing period.

Whatever you'd like to call it starts today.

Michigan has, I believe, now 27 players in the class that I believe they'll all sign today,

but we'll have a full update throughout the course of the morning.
