It has been 2039 days, 2039 days since Ohio State last beat Michigan on the football

field, 239 days and counting since Ohio State last beat Michigan on the football field.

And it's been since this weekend since Michigan got a commitment over Ohio State

for a big time college football prospect.

So we're going to get to that coming up in just a little bit as over the weekend,

the Wolverines received the commitment from 2025, excuse me,

2026, edge defender Carter Meadows, who is a four-star prospect from Gonzaga Prep in Washington,

D.C. He is ranked 34th in the 247 rankings overall.

He's the fifth edge in the 247 rankings.

In the composite rankings, he is 72nd overall and the ninth edge defender.

But he picked Michigan over Ohio State and other programs.

I think Ohio State really thought they were going to get him.

He's 6-6. I know he's right now listed at 6-6-2 and a quarter, but obviously a lot more to put on that frame.

But he is an elite edge defender prospect from Gonzaga Prep. And if you remember, I'm trying to

remember, it had to have been in January-ish. I came on the air and I said, I have a recruiting nugget. I have a piece of information for Michigan football recruiting.

I don't usually have many.

Maybe it was probably February.
