Often safety and innovation are thought of as mutually exclusive.

And as Mark's title suggests suggests that is not the case.

And he should know Pete because Mark, as everybody knows, has a very rich extensive background

dealing with safety issues.

Even before he was the head of NHTSA,

he was with the National Transportation Safety Board.

And of course, responsible course, um, responsible for, you know, very important decisions regarding the safety of various transportation systems, investigating crashes and things like that.

So, Mark knows the connection between innovation and safety very well.

So I'm hoping that everybody enjoys that conversation.
