| 0:14.0 | Let's talk about zinc's influence over cortisol. |
| 0:18.0 | Zinc is a trace mineral. I've done a lot of videos on it. |
| 0:21.0 | But it has a huge influence over something called the HPA axis. |
| 0:26.0 | Hypothalamus, which is in the brain, pituitary, and then we have the adrenal. |
| 0:30.0 | So we have this whole feedback loop going on. |
| 0:33.0 | So the adrenals are controlled by the hypothalamus through the pituitary's help. |
| 0:38.0 | And zinc supports this whole pathway. |
| 0:42.0 | So when you take zinc, you actually have the ability to lower cortisol. |
| 0:47.0 | Zinc also increases gava, which is very calming. |
| 0:50.0 | So when you take zinc, it calms you down. |
| 0:53.0 | Here's another problem with lower zinc. |
| 0:55.0 | When you're low in zinc, you're automatically going to be a little bit higher and copper |
