Hello, friends. This is episode two of the rebroadcast of Zeeland, the untold story of Wade and Ellen

Zick, the season I produced back in 2019. Where we left things last time, Wade and Ellen hadn't shown up

for church on Sunday. Zeeland resident Lorraine Reiner went over to their house and found the home

empty and the bed unmade. She alerted Francis

Stryphle, an employee at the bank where Wade was manager. He went over to the bank,

discovered money missing, so he called the Sheriff Milton Weist. The deputy arrived

in Zeeland where he asked the community for help with the search for the six.

He also asked for help from BCI, the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Meanwhile, Wade Zick's daughter, Nancy Wald, and her husband, Don, they got a phone call at their

home in Bismarck. Something was wrong. Her parents were missing. So Nancy and Donwald loaded up their

kids, Robin and Mike, into the car, and headed out on a 90-mile drive to Zealand.
