just touch on the general updates in baseball and Giants World. I guess the biggest one in the Giants

World is Randy Wynn was named Vice President of Player Development

by Buster Posey. Did this one catch you off guard? Because I'm not really sure Randy Wins's

resume is for a role like this. This did catch me very much off guard. For a number of reasons,

one of which is I was co-workers with Randy. I did pre-and-posts

with him. I got a chance to host a few shows last year, and I think most of the ones I hosted,

Randy was the analyst. So I've worked with him quite a bit over the years. He does have some

background in this. He did rejoinin the giants a few years after his

playing career um obviously has the long playing career the five years with the giants uh

overwapped with posey for like a couple weeks um so he he does he does have the playing career

and has been in the front office in various roles um not like He's been a roving instructor and he did some scouting.
